This is a Change Password Patch for Roundcube under cPanel installations. Since cPanel servers store the passwords under shadow files in a non-standard location, I decided to make this patch to use the cPanel integrated features along with Roundcube. This patch is based in the standard release of Roundcube, not CVS mods applied.
IMPORTANT: The following patch requires cURL to work properly, so make sure that your PHP installation is compiled with cURL before installing this patch.
How does it work?
Easy, this patch takes a script (dowebmailpasswd.cgi - cPanel 10 / dopasswdpop.html - cPanel 11) under the cPanel installation and use it to change the password. All the cPanel installations come with those scripts so you should not have any problems running the patch. Just download and install the right version for your cPanel installation.
Installation Procedure
1. Download the patch. You can find the links at the top of the page.
2. Extract the files into your hard disk.
3. Upload the extracted files into your web directory and replace them if needed.
